Compost soil produced regionally – CO2 reduced!
As part of a cooperation project that optimises the resource efficiency of green waste from the region, we produce high-quality soil from quality compost for our hobby customers.
This product idea arose from the cooperation between the waste management company of the district of Vechta (AWV) and Gramoflor. It makes it possible to offer a high-quality soil from the region and for the region for the “South Oldenburg hobby gardener and around”. The result is a sustainable circular economy system: The green cuttings and regional garden waste produced in the region are delivered to the AWV and processed there into quality compost. With the addition of high-quality raw materials and additives, such as North German peat, LIGNOFIBRE® wood fibre and fertiliser, the compost is transformed at the Gramoflor plant into the versatile MACH MIT! potting and planting soil.
The local hobby gardener completes the cycle. He plants bushes, trees, bedding and balcony plants in his garden or on his balcony, as well as salads, vegetables or herbs as he likes, and uses MACH MIT! Blumen- und Pflanzerde.
Another advantage of the MACH MIT! cooperation is the short transport routes: they protect the environment by saving CO2.
MACH MIT! Blumen- und Pflanzenerde
The potting soil can be used universally as a soil conditioner in the garden. It provides bushes, small trees and other perennial plants with valuable nutrients. It is suitable for beds and tubs for planting primroses, horned violets and daffodils (spring bloomers). We also recommend it for bedding and balcony plants (summer), such as geraniums and petunias, and for autumn plants, e.g. heather, heather, asters, autumn magic, violas and cyclamen.
The green compost contained provides valuable potassium for good ripening and winter hardiness. This soil is ideal for raised beds, e.g. lettuce, vegetables and herbs, and also suitable for grave planting.
